so I’m not always careful where I put the dang things but try to keep track of two pair of distance glasses, one for car, one for home TV, two pair of computer glasses with bifocal for reading and two pair of prescription sun glasses, (no I can’t get the transition lenses, they are NOT cool). They inevitably find their way on a couch, chair, floor, blanket and who knows where. Then, smash
history.
The rub about it this time is that I’m a Wacky Ex Wife with no clumsy, inattentive husband to
blame. I came home from dance practice and excited as I usually am to play with my little Chihuahua, I grabbed her, lifted her high overhead and jumped on my bed right on the glasses I left there
sometime during the day. Nothing to be fixed, my exuberance squashed them beyond repair.
My ex, by the way, demolished at least four pair of my glasses during our time together. Twice on a couch or chair, once on a beach and once trying to tighten the arm screw (big man hands bent the arm right off).
Have you ever tried to choose from the racks and racks of empty eyes on the shelves?It’s a tedious and stressful task; square, round, oval, octagon, hexagon, who knows-agon; black, white, red,
purple, green, blue, brown. Help me please and don’t go alone. There is no one to say, “Ugh, no, not those. They make your nose look big or your eyes too wide.”
All is not lost, though. I found a terrific website and just in time thanks to this blog opp; an online fitting
