You know them. They are everywhere. Family, Co-workers, friends. The "Debbie Downers" who rarely see outcomes as anything but bad and who hold no hope for anything exciting or good. The constant critics who seem to thrive on the negative words they spew. One just need to turn on the TV news or social media to be bombarded with negative comments or fear mongering. And we all have that person in our lives who, on the guise of being helpful, must point out our flaws, mistakes and imperfections.
Well, with all the uncertainty in the world, one thing is very certain. Even if you are not a believer in cause and effect or the law of attraction, getting sucked into this caustic zone of negativity will not make things better.
Women are most susceptible to the negative emotions of the world since they are feeling creatures. We tend not only to sympathize but empathize as well. This can dangerously affect our emotional well-being. It is time to say, “Enough Already”.
Planets weren’t invented by only focusing on “what goes up, must come down”. The stars and planets of the universe aren’t explored by assuming they are too far away from us.
It is a scientific fact that all of life is energy.
“Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual” (1) – Richard Conn Henry, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University (quote taken from “the mental universe)
“What we perceive as our physical material world, is really not physical or material at all, in fact, it is far from it. This has been proven time and time again by multiple Nobel Prize (among many other scientists around the world) winning physicists, one of them being Niels Bohr, a Danish Physicist who made significant contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum theory.
However, we do not need to understand quantum physics to know how we feel when someone smiles at us, or to be able to feel the thickness of air in a room full of people emitting negative thoughts or energy.
“Studies have shown that positive emotions and operating from a place of peace within oneself can lead to a very different experience for the person emitting those emotions and for those around them.” .
We can only create and emit to others what we hope for with our positivity turned to the “on” position, flipping the switch, so to speak. It is not enough to believe in a better social culture, we must create because:
“Your beliefs become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words. Your words become your actions. Your actions become your habits. Your habits become your values. Your values become your destiny.”
So, flipping the switch matters. It’s time to act. I know, with all the negativity around us, it’s not so easy. But with focus, determination and desire, you can do most anything.
